CITY OF PHOENIX AVIATION DEPARTMENT FIRE STATION ALERTING SYSTEM Request for Proposal The City of Phoenix Aviation Department is seeking Offers from a qualified Offeror for the replacement of the existing Fire Station Alerting System and related services. The key functionality of the Alerting System is to notify certain Aviation personnel that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Crash Line has been activated. The Crash Line notifies stakeholders of an aircraft emergency by activating the Alerting System. Aviation’s two Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Stations 19 and 29 house the Alerting System at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX, Airport) which is an essential component to PHX’s emergency preparedness and responses. An updated Alerting System and related services will improve reliability, expand functionality and reduce emergency response times at PHX. Specifically, a new Alerting System and related services will provide updated equipment and expanded coverage for visual and audio alerts, among other things, as a means for ongoing FAA regulatory compliance, through a Request for Proposal (RFP). AVN RFP 24-002 will be issued on or about October 5, 2023 and will be available along with required attachments by visiting: https://solicitations.phoenix.gov/Solicitations/Details/1626 All dates are subject to change. The Procurement Officer for this RFP is Michael Soto III, michael.soto@phoenix.gov
