Library of Congress Notice of Intent to sole source for a contract less than $750,000. This is not a request for proposal nor a request for quote as there is no solicitation document available. As a legislative branch agency, the Library is subject to the competition and advertising requirements of 41 U.S.C. § 6101. The Government will not be responsible for paying on any costs incurred and/or associated with the development of any responses submitted to this notice.

This requirement is for the continued maintenance of the Library of Congress (Library)’s existing In-building cellular system until a new cellular Distributed Antenna System (DAS) replacement contract can be competed and awarded and/or new DAS system installed. The LOC uses an In Building Wireless (IBW) system to provide cellular connectivity for mobile phones in the areas inside of the LOC Madison, Jefferson, Adams, and Culpeper buildings. Without this system the wireless signal would not reach the interior public areas of the LOC. The current system is end-of-life but needs to be maintained until a new upgraded system is installed by March of 2025.
