Description

In 2008, the Library of Congress and Every Child a Reader, a 501(c)(3) literacy charity, created the post of National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature (“Ambassador”), an individual appointed by the Librarian of Congress for a two-year term to serve as a cultural and literacy delegate throughout the nation. During their term, the Ambassador participates in a tour in which they visit schools and engage with young people. The Library intends to distribute up to 800 books at each school visited by the Ambassador. The Library seeks a contractor to provide copies of the Ambassador’s books and ship the books to the designated tour stops. The Library seeks a Contractor that shall provide books and shipping for the Ambassador’s tour.
