The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry that a sole source contract action is intended to be awarded to Gans & Pugh Associates, Inc.[UEI: L22ZZ3J986R7 ] under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.501 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), proposes to enter into a Firm Fixed Price purchase order/ funded contract, sole source contract with Gans & Pugh Associates, Inc., located at 690 CTR ST STE 201 Herndon, Virginia 20170-5019, for the mission critical Avida Panther 4 system.

CBP’s market research has not identified any other firms that are registered and approved to sell this Avida system.

Via this notice, it has been determined, and is in the Government’s sole discretion not to compete this contract action. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however, all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a capabilities statement, proposal, or quotation demonstrating how they can potentially meet the requirements described above. All submitted capabilities statements will be considered.
