Description

This project will conduct focus groups to learn from non-White motorcycle operators and passengers about their experiences and perceptions concerning equity. The goal of the research is to assess the extent to which focus group members report being treated differently, unjustly, or unfairly in the traffic safety environment. Information will include the identification of traffic safety improvements that address inequities , as revealed through the focus groups. Research outcomes will benefit NHTSA Regional Offices, State Highway Safety Offices, and advocacy groups.
