The Library of Congress requires contractor support to implement the approved design plan for the new Thomas Jefferson Building Retail Shop. The contractor shall provide project management services, custom retail fixture fabrication, site preparation and installation services to execute the approved design as outlined in the Retail Shop Construction Documents (CDs) Package of drawings, specifications, concept and other supporting documents. Services will encompass the manufacturing of the custom Retail Shop casework, laminated glass arches, new egress signage, display components and accessories, and all services required to prepare the site and install the components in the North and South Corridors of the Jefferson Building.
The contractor will have the overall responsibility for project and construction management and reporting and shall complete the project as near to February 2024 as possible without consequence to the caliber of the work and design and while abiding by review and Quality Assurance processes laid out in the PWS.
