The production Commvault environment exceeded current license storage capacity limitations for backups in May 2023. As a result, a temporary license was provided by the vendor to ensure mission critical backups were sustained. As the Library’s storage and VMs continue to grow, this results in an increasing number of backups requiring storage, we anticipate the need to expand licensing systematically as the backup footprint increases over time. The contractor shall provide a subscription to meet this additional capacity. See attached J&A.
