The Department of State, Office of Acquisition Management (A/OPE/AQM), is in the process of determining the Hotels interested and capable of providing Lodging and Conference Related Services in Washington, D.C. This is sources sought notice and request for information (RFI). This is not a formal solicitation. Information provided to the Government because of this posting is strictly voluntary, given with no expectation of compensation, and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. The purpose of this RFI is to identify Hotels in Washington, D.C., capable of and interested in providing Lodging and Conference Related Services.

The summary of the requirement is as follows:

1. Hotel accommodations for approximately 260 personnel; one large conference meeting space to accommodate up to 260 personnel; three separate smaller conference meeting spaces to accommodate up to eighty (80) personnel each; One breakout room to be used as the hospitality room during the length of the workshop; the ability to provide an office/workspace equipped with computer workstation, telephone, facsimile, copier, tables, chairs, multi-plug extension cords, and internet hook ups; ability to provide a locked room to store conference supplies; ability to provide rental equipment requirements and installation of production lighting, technical and electrical components, décor and fabrication; ability to provide furniture removal and set up; on-site parking capabilities; provide breakfast and lunch for approximately 260 personnel; ability to provide audio visual equipment and other logistical needs.


2. Estimated Period of Performance: April 7-13, 2024.

The Department of State, Office of Acquisition Management needs the following information from the Hotels:

1. Hotel Name

2. Location of the Hotel

3. Accommodations at the Hotel

4. Capacity of the Hotel

5. Capabilities of Hotel

6. CAGE Code and UEI Number

7. Copy of the Hotel's Brochure

8. Point of Contact Name, Email and Tel/Cell

All socio-economic groups (small and large businesses) are encouraged to respond to this request.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) anticipated for this requirement is 721110.The size standard for this NAICS code is $40 Million.

Interested Hotels in Washington, D.C. shall have a current Systems for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov)) active registration. SAM registrations shall incorporate the representations and certifications of the company identifying the NAICS of 721110.
