Description

Attached is a copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ) for The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) requires a commercial leased 4-door Large SUV as transportation for the Secretary of Commerce and her colleagues on official Department business. This requirement supports the Department's overall mission and complies with federal regulations, Presidential mandates, and General Services Administration guidance on acquiring Alternative Fuel Vehicles and reducing petroleum usage



The Government intends to award a 12-month Base with four (4) succeeding option years (if exercised). The contract type contemplated is a firm-fixed-price.



This is a total small business set-aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The solicitation number isAA-FEQ-WC-O-24-00749 and it is issued as request for quote (RFQ). Please view attachments. Please read the RFQ carefully and in its entirety. The corresponding NAICS code is 532112 and the small business size standard is $47 million.



Technical Inquiries and Questions Regarding Solicitation:



All questions regarding the solicitation, of a contractual nature or technical nature, must be submitted in writing to Raymond Meraz, Contracting Officer, via email- rmeraz@doc.gov in accordance with the instructions found on page 3, Section 2.0 Communications and Questions section of the RFQ by 3:00 PM EDT March 5, 2024. DOC will not consider any questions received after that date.



Quote Submission:



Offerors who intend to submit quotes in response to this solicitation must respond accordance with Section 1.0 , page 3, General Instructions of the RFQ. All offers must arrive NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM EDT March 15, 2024. Late submissions, modifications, and withdrawals of bids will be processed in accordance with FAR 52.212-1,INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS - COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES (September 2023)
