The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Health Services Division (HSD) provides healthcare to 121 correctional facilities geographically dispersed throughout the contiguous United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, divided into six regions. Medical services rendered to all federal inmates are governed by Federal law, BOP policies and procedures, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and American Corrections Association (ACA) standards.
The purpose of this request for information (RFI) is to acquire information regarding equipment purchase and installation and vendor capabilities to provide pharmacy automation to fit the needs of BOP and provide system interface with our in-house electronic medical record (EMR) and prescription software.
