This information has been prepared by United States Postal Service Fleet Strategy and Support with the assistance of Facilities and Fleet Acquisition. This Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the Postal Service will take action in this matter.



The USPS is seeking to identify potential suppliers who possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide vehicle servicing and repair equipment to approximately 300 USPS Vehicle Maintenance Facilities across the United States. The equipment will be used for routine vehicle preventative maintenance and repair work. A qualified supplier is defined as a firm offering new equipment, certified with electrical and safety designation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.



It is emphasized that this RFI is NOT a Request for Proposal, nor is it an Invitation for Bid. This RFI is being used to promote competition and to obtain information for market research and planning purposes only, and the Postal Service does not intend to enter into an implementation arrangement at this time. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Postal Service to form a binding agreement.



This RFI is subject to review or cancellation at any time and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Postal Service to enter into an agreement. The Postal Service will not pay for the information submitted in response to this request.



Please do not request a copy of the solicitation, as no solicitation exists at this time.



Response Instructions



All responses must be received by 4:00pm Eastern time on April 05, 2024.
