Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on Sam.gov (https://sam.gov/).



The RFQ number is N0018923QCONROOMFUR. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2023-04 (effective 02 June 2023) and DFARS Publication Notice 20230427 (effective 27 April 2023). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 337127 and the Small Business Standard is 500 (# of employees). The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract. The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of two (2) TLS 24x72 Laminate edge base finish ganging rectangular tables, two (2) TLS 30x60 Laminate edge base finish ganging half round tables, twenty-eight (28) Truly body- activated motion chairs, one (1) 4’H x 12’W magnetic porcelain horizontal slider marker board, sixteen (16) square magnets with black cap, one (1) demountable glass partition in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).

SCOPE OF WORK




  1. TASK


    1. Task Title: Creation of the War Room and Conference Room at Naval History and Heritage Command





    1. Definition of Need and Proposed Resolution: The National Museum of the US Navy seeks to procure a conference table, vitrine and chairs for the war room and conference room in building 76, Washington Navy Yard (WNY).





1.3 Resolution: Contractor will provide a conference table, chairs for the table, a vitrine and chairs for the United States Constitution Conference Room.




  1. DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS


    1. The contractor will provide a modular nesting (folding) table for the war room with 2 30x60 half round tables and 2 24x72 rectangle sections. Total measurement 48x72 for the rectangle and 60 in diameter for the circle

    2. The contractor will provide 8 body activated motion chairs for the war room table

    3. The contractor will provide 20 body activated motion chairs for the United States Constitution Conference Room

    4. The contractor will provide a demountable glass partition for the war room

    5. The contractor will provide a 4'H x 12"W sliding porcelain whiteboard track system





3.0 DELIVERY LOCATION

4.0 AVAILIBLE HOURS OF WORK



4.1 Delivery will be accepted from 6:00A-4:00P M-F.

7.0 SECURITY



7.1 Base access will be required. Visitors to the Washington Navy Yard will not be accepted on-site without prior coordination and approval. Requests for admission to the base will be coordinated through museum administrative operations.



8.0 Warranty



8.1. Contractor will provide a limited lifetime warranty or 10 years.



9.0 LOCATION CONSIDERATIONS



9.1 There is limited parking on the WNY, contractors are advised to car share when possible
