Description

The project is for replacing underground storage tanks and related components at an Defense Army and Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) gas station at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) in Washington, DC. It includes replacing six under dispenser containment sumps, four 12,000-gallon underground fiberglass reinforced plastic gasoline storage tanks, associated piping, fittings, monitoring systems, and accessories. The work also includes removing old tanks and sumps, excavating and backfilling trenches, testing and commissioning the new system, and coordinating work with AAFES personnel. NOTICE: Detailed performance requirements to be provided at solicitation.
