THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and market research planning purposes. This RFI shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government. This is NOT a Request for Quotations or Proposals. No solicitation document exists, and the Government may or may not issue a formal solicitation as a result of the responses received to this RFI.
The DHS Federal Protective Services (FPS) has a requirement for Public Safety Telecommunicator and Alarm Monitor Support Services. The objective of this in-development requirement is to obtain public safety telecommunicator and alarm monitoring services in support of FPS and the National operations of each MegaCenter located in Denver, Colorado, Battle Creek, Michigan, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As briefly detailed above, the MegaCenter Program resides under DHS/MGMT/FPS. This will also include services performed at the St. Elizabeths West Campus, Campus Security Operations Center (CSOC) located in Washington D.C and the Alexandria Virginia Bren Mar facility (National Capital Region).
In-development public safety telecommunicator and alarm monitoring support services include direct support of the MegaCenters, in monitoring multiple types of intrusion detection systems (IDS), land mobile radio systems, and wireless communications within federal facilities, throughout the entire nation. The MegaCenters are equipped with communication systems operating 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, and 365-days per year. Public safety telecommunicator and alarm monitoring services are in support of the MegaCenters.
