Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) intends to issue a firm fixed price contract with the Arizona State University in support of OCED’s Engagement division under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901. The period of performance for this action is 01 August 2023 to 30 September 2024.

The purpose of this requirement is twofold. First, to establish mutually agreed-upon ground rules for collaborative and respectful engagement that set the stage for long-term community-OCED-awardee collaboration. Second, to develop a list of community-grounded priorities for continued, three-way engagement that is accompanied with an action plan for responding to the identified issues. OCED proposes to work with an organization to design and conduct two (2) Participatory Technology Assessments (PTA) processes. By establishing Shared Principles for Community Collaboration via the PTA, OCED intends to foster trust with the community and awardee, and ensure the effective engagement of diverse community stakeholders and project awardees in understanding the varied perceptions, goals, and experiences surrounding OCED’s projects.
