Description

The scope of this contract includes functions necessary for the Library of Congress (LOC) to comply with Federal, state, and District of Columbia waste management and emergency response requirements for its facilities in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The selected contractor will comply with all requirements for waste identification, transportation, reporting, treatment, storage, and disposal under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (RCRA), as amended, and the Toxic Substance Control Act of 1976, as amended, and all re-authorization of these acts in place or newly enacted during the life of the contract, other Federal regulations including but not limited to 40 CFR , 29 CFR, and 49 CFR, any analogous state or DC hazardous waste management regulations in place or newly promulgated during the life of this Contract.
