This is a Sources Sought Notice. This Notice is issued for Market Research purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation or a request to submit qualification documents. A synopsis of proposed contract action may be posted at a later date. The synopsis will provide instructions for offers.
Please only respond to this Notice if you are interested in submitting a proposal and are capable of completing the work required to complete the project.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract for secured parking spaces within 160 meters of the main entrance of the BOP's Central Office leased facility located at 901 D St, SW, Washington, DC 20534. The scope of work includes single, dual, and triple parking spaces that adhere to ADA requirements for those with disabilities, 24/7/365 access, and that meet the following minimum requirements:
- Secured area set-aside for BOP personnel/vehicles only.
- Single vehicle access point with physical barriers for access control.
- Controlled access entrance barrier operated with electronic keycard.
In addition to the minimum requirements, the vendor must permit the BOP to install/utilize the following at no cost to the vendor:
- Security enclosure at the entrance to the parking area (vendor must provide access to 120 volt (15) amp and 240 volt (30) amp circuits)
- Security cameras in mutually agreed upon locations within the structure.
- Allowance for Federal Protective Service (FPS) staff to monitor the Facility in the designated BOP parking area.
The anticipated performance period of this project is a Base + 4 Option Years to begin on August 1, 2023. .
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 812930 with a corresponding small business size standard of $47.0 million. Firms larger than this average will be required to submit a small business subcontracting plan if selected to submit a proposal unless the services will be completed fully in-house by the firm for the entire contract duration.
Interested entities must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. NAICS code 812930 must be included, where applicable, in the registrations.
