Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) sole source 6-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the acquisition of up to ten (10) 270’ WMEC Ship Service Switchboard Retrofit Kit, up to ten (10) 270’ WMEC Emergency Service Switchboard Retrofit Kit, up to ten (10) Onboarding Repairs Parts Kit, and technical representative services to safely commission the switchboards and successfully provide full power to the cutter, and onboard training to adequately educate and prepare the cutter’s crew for safe operation of the switchboards in support of the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) program. This requirement is to replace the switchboard controls as part of the 270’ WMEC Service Life Extension Program (SLEP). The proposed contract will be awarded to:

This procurement is conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Award of this requirement to any other source would result in the absence of continuity with all other systems currently installed on the cutters as part of the 270’ WMEC Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) and would result in----






  1. Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition;





This is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. However, interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements submit, in writing, complete information describing their ability to provide the service/supplies as detailed above. All responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in future. Submission of information does not guarantee this requirement to become a competitive procurement. A determination will be made by the Government based on response to this notice, and solely within the discretion of the Government.
