The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to AMERICAN IMMUNIZATION REGISTRY A, 1717 PENNSYLVANIA AVE NW STE 1025 WASHINGTON, DC 20006-3951 for Support for CDC’s Improving Vaccination Tracking for People Experiencing Homelessness Project.

AIRA is the only contractor who has the requisite multi-jurisdiction technical expertise

in immunization information systems management and data integration processes to

efficiently develop a landscape analysis that documents opportunities, challenges

and solutions to integrate HMIS and IIS systems; develop criteria to assess the

suitability of jurisdictions as pilot sites for data integration, identify potential pilot sites

for implementing integration based on those criteria; and leverage working

relationships with key stakeholders including data system vendors, jurisdictions, staff

specialized in immunization information systems, national/federal organizations and

local organizations relating to homeless services and immunization information

systems in order to develop and build additional communities of practice.

AIRA is the only contractor that can provide this service since they are the only

contractor with specific, deep and broad expertise and partnerships.

This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received by 3:00 p.m. EST on July 18, 2023. Eastern Standard Time of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
