AMENDMENT 0001 - To provide answers to the questions in response to the solicitation, a revised PWS, a revised solicitation, and to extend the response date.



DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.



The Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), Office of Manufactured Housing Programs (OMHP) requires contractor support to assist with performing all monitoring responsibilities outlined in the MHCSS Act. Monitoring activities include inspections and assessments of the private and state agents who are responsible for inspections, and oversight of the manufacturer’s adherence to their quality assurance programs of manufactured housing (Design Approval Primary Inspection Agency functions) as well as enforcement of notification and correction campaigns and related recordkeeping pursuant to Subpart I of the regulations.
