NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration intends to award a single source contract to Sharp Details, Inc in Dulles, VA.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, proposes to continue procuring aircraft cleaning and servicing of lavatories as well as maintenance, repair, and minor construction services for buildings, structures, related systems and equipment located at Hangar 6, Ronald Reagan National Airport, Washington, D.C. The acquisition will utilize single source procedures.

In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. It is in the best interest of the FAA to maintain the current vendor, Sharp Details Inc, through the awarding of the follow-on contract for this effort has been completed. This will retain efficiencies and eliminate duplicated work efforts, learning curves for complexity, or unacceptable delays.

This announcement is for informational purposes only and is not a Solicitation, Request for Proposal, or Screening Information Request. This requirement will be awarded to Sharp Details, Inc and is not available for full and open competition.
