Notice of Intent to Sole Source- Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School & Corporate Work Study Program

This is not a request for proposal. This is a notice of the Government’s intent to issue a sole source award contract to:

Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School & Corporate Work Study Program, 1010 Larch Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912

Peace Corps has a requirement for a total of two (2) work study positions with a total of four (4) students for each position (eight total students). Each work study position shall equal service during a period of approximately ten (10) months (September-June), with each student working a maximum of no more than (i) two (2) days per week and (ii) eight (8) hours per day, with most students working 1 day per week. Students will assist our Office of the Chief Information Officer and Office of the Chief Financial Officer with administrative support tasks.

The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Only One Source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)i. All responsible sources may submit quotations which shall be considered by the agency.

The period of performance is for this action is one ten month period The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611110 which has a size standard of $20 Million.

This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals.Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement by NOON (ET), August 4, 2023. that provides sufficient details for consideration to the government via email to: jsevere@peacecorps.gov with a cc: costronic@peacecorps.gov.

The determination not to compete the contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Phone calls will not be accepted in response to this notice. All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror’s bona fide capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. The Government reserves the right to cancel this requirement.
