The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Finance and Facilities Division (FFD), Print Service Center has a requirement for (2) paper cutters at the PSC locations in the FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC and the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. This requirement is a new request. The current paper cutters in both facilities are well over their maturity date. Replacement parts are not readily available along with updated software can no longer be installed on either machine. In order to produce accurate and top-quality material. New, state of the art, paper cutters are required.

This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s beta.SAM.gov website (www.beta.SAM.gov). The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice is a request for competitive quotations; interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by submitting quotes to Travis Haefler via email only at thaefler@fbi.gov, no later than 5:00am (Central) on Monday, 4 September 2023. Responses sent via other means (i.e. via telephone call, facsimile transmission, etc.) will not be considered. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government.

Vendors must be registered in SAM, effective July 29, 2012, to receive government contracts. The FBI utilizes a financial system that has a direct interface with SAM. Please ensure that your company’s SAM information is updated and accurate. This includes: TIN, EFT, DUNs, addresses, and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization.
