Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.



This solicitation is a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02.



The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721120.



Overview: The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is an independent Federal agency created by Congress in 1935 to administer the National Labor Relations Act, the primary law governing relations between unions and employers in the private sector. The purpose of these meetings is to train and share knowledge between Administrative Law Judges from across the nation. The National Labor Relations Board, 1015 Half St SE, Washington, DC 20570 is seeking to acquire lodging for the NLRB’s 2023 Administrative Law Judge Conference.



Dates:



Event Dates: September 11-13, 2023



Lodging will be required Sunday, September 10th (check-in) through Wednesday, September 13th (check-out).



Requirements



Lodging accommodations for approximately 34 individuals for 3 nights (September 10th-13th). All rooms shall be provided or below the government per diem rate. If necessary, due to availability, lodging may be provided at different locations.



The hotel must be located in Washington, DC, in a safe area, preferably within a ten-to-fifteen-minute walk of NLRB’s Headquarters located at 1015 Half St, SE, Washington, DC 20570.



Sleeping rooms shall be clean, well-furnished and include usual amenities for overnight accommodations. All rooms shall include free high-speed internet access (WIFI preferred). “Handicapped-accessible” rooms should be available upon demand when employees make room reservations.
