NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration intends to award a single source contract to Epic Aviation LLC at Newington, VA. This is a contract modification to existing contract 6973GH-21-D-00003 with Epic Aviation.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes to acquire a bulk Jet “A” fuel for FAA operated aircraft located at Hangar 6 at RRWNA at market prices. The purpose of this modification is to adjust current contract prices to current market pricing. The acquisition will utilize single source procedures.

In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. This requirement will be awarded to Epic Aviation and is not available for full and open competition.
