Summary:
Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5,
The VA Washington, D.C. 20422 is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in
order to identify vendors that are interested in and capable of performing installation of Traptex Plumbing Protection for the VA Washington DC Health Care system.

Description of Work:
The Contractor shall be required to provide all necessary labor and materials to furnish and repair/replace the drain opening with Sizing and Install Traptex Plumbing Protection System at the VA Medical Center, 50 Irving Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. Contractor shall adhere to all local Plumbing Codes. Currently, the drainage system is working without the ability to catch and remove clothes, wipes, and other items caught by the Traptex toilet guard. The Traptex Plumbing Protection system is unique and addresses vulnerabilities of our drainage system that may compromise our processes regarding patient care.

Interested & Capable Responses:
NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities and qualifications necessary to perform Traptex Plumbing Installation at the Washington, DC Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (DC VAMC) and CBOCS.

Please respond to this RFI/Sources Sought 36C24523Q0530 with your:

1. Business name (including Unique Entity ID (SAM.gov), business type, socio-economic status
(e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person
of contact (including telephone number & email address).

2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing these types of services
for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar facilities & equipment.

3. GSA contract number to include NAICS (if applicable).

4. Brief Summary of categories of transportation that your company can/cannot provide.
