Air Force District of Washington (AFDW)/PK intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract action under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 as follows:



Contract #: FA7014-18-D-5000



Contract Name: Financial Improvement Audit Remediation (FIAR)



Contract Type: Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ)



Contract Action: Modification to the basic ID/IQ to extend the ordering period by 6-months, extend the duration of the final task order(s) by one year, and to increase the contract ceiling.

This notice of intent is not a request for proposal.



However, IAW FAR 5.207(16)(ii), all responsible sources who are interested and regard themselves as capable to fulfill this requirement without a break in service are invited to submit a capability package to the Government for consideration.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.





Description of Services



The AF FIAR Support contract provides Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) support in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 37.2 in the areas of Management and Professional Support Services and Studies, Analyses and Evaluations. Services include providing subject matter expertise for successful financial audits, testing and corrective action plan (CAP) development and implementation.
