Sources Sought Synopsis





The Naval Research Laboratory is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for 2 portable AC units lease. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 238220.



Contractor to provide (2) portable AC units to condition building A13. These units will provide clean dry air at 55F and assist in the humidity control of the facility. The units will create air changes in the space further assisting with heat rejection and humidity control. For the clean room contractor to provide HEPA filtration on the AC unit for proper air filtration. The units will condensate outside of the building so no moisture will build up inside of the building. Contractor will run duct from each unit through the identified windows to provide conditioned air to the space (Includes: AC Units, 12" Duct, Cable). Contractor will provide 50' of cable per unit to energize them. Contractor need to coordinate with Naval Research Lab provide the proper sized breakers and electricians to make the terminations to the house power including set up and teardown.



Electrical Requirements: 480V 3 phase 60Hz - 28.7FLA 50 amp circuit breaker 208V 3 phase 60Hz - 55FLA 125 amp circuit breaker.
