This notice is published for informational purposes only and not as a request for competitive quotes or proposals.



The U.S. Government Publishing Office(GPO) intends to issue a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to CANON Solutions America of Boca Raton, Florida, to provide the Tracking & Integration Project (closed loop system for all inkjet inspection systems: pre-press, printing, and binding; consisting of Hardware, Software, Software Upgrade, Software Engineering, and Professional Services.



CANON Solutions is the sole provider of their unique propriety equipment integrated with GPO’s in-house digital finishing device equipment that is designed specifically to fit the Near Line Operation. This equipment is critical to ensure the redundant capability to eliminate bottlenecks, and achieve labor savings and a smaller footprint, while allowing better inline and maximum productivity (for GPO’s critical publications, including the Congressional Record and Federal Register.
