The Government requires Furnishing Management Services for Unaccompanied Housing (UH) on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), Washington D.C. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform Furnishings Management Services (FMS) at JBAB in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). FMS shall be provided for the Dormitory Campus, the Base Confinement area, the Fire Department (sleeping and kitchen areas), and the Main and Auxiliary facilities.
The period of performance includes one (1) 12-month base year and four (4) 12-month Options.
The following performance requirements are critical to this contract:
The contractor shall perform transport of furnishings and appliances, perform maintenance and repairs, coordinate warranty repairs and replacement, provide and maintain work order log, provide warehouse and inventory management, perform disposition activities and provide monthly cost reports. See attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). All work shall be performed in accordance with the PWS.
The contractor shall be responsible for maintenance and repairs on furnishings and appliances, as well as cleaning and clearing of lint traps (monthly), indoor dryer vents and hoses (quarterly), and outdoor vents and ductwork (semi-annually) located in dormitories. Furnishings are defined as furniture, fittings, and other decorative accessories including, but not limited to: dressers, wardrobes, chairs, televisions (day rooms only), tables, mattresses, and bed frames. Appliances are defined as, but not limited to: refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, and stackable washer/dryers.
