NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. This is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), hereby announces its intent to issue a sole source order/contract to the American Public Health Association, Inc., 800 I ST NW, Washington, DC 20001-3879.
The purpose of the contract is to provide for the sponsorship of a special journal issue of a high-impact public health peer-reviewed journal, as a theme issue on health worker mental health aimed at addressing the current mental health challenges health workers are experiencing as well as building a sustainable future for supporting health worker mental health and well-being. The issue will contain 15-20 accepted articles making up 80-100 pages formatted as a combination of editorials, analytic essays, briefs, research articles, and other article types as specified in the journal’s instructions for authors. All articles that pass editorial and peer review will be published together as a collection. Other articles will be published at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief. A Call for Papers will be produced and will run in 3 sequential issues of the contracted journal.
