The Library of Congress Acquisitions & Bibliographic Access Directorate is requires contractor support to process a backlog of collections acquisitions in Germanic and Slavic languages. This work shall encompass a variety of day-to-day tasks including:

• Item accessioning, sorting and shelving;


• Collection tracking; and


• Data management and input in ILS.

A contract is already in place for these services and a competition for future services was publicly posted on SAM and closed on February 6, 2023. This posting constitutes the public notice for the increase of the existing contract ceiling and extension of the period of performance for these required services. No proposals are being sought at this time and no written solicitation will be issued. This public notice accomplishes the following:

1. Extension of the period of performance on existing Library Contract LCLGD22P0054 by six months per FAR 52.217-8.


2. Increases the contract ceiling to increase the task quantities of the requirement per FAR 52.217-6.


3. Publicly posting the approved Justification & Approval in advance of contract modification.
