Description

US Customs and Border Protection CBP requires parking spaces for 173 Government-owned vehicles (GOVs) and government personally owned vehicles (POVs) for employees located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC

(Ronald Reagan Building). CBP intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with Trade Center Management Associates LLC (TCMA). for the renewal of parking space reservation at the Ronald Reagan Bldg. (RRB) at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington, DC 20229 for US Customs and Border Protection, under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and 41 USC 253(c)(1).



*There is only one responsible source, as Trade Center Management Associates LLC owns and operates the attached parking garage surrounding this office space. TCMA is the only vendor who can fulfill this need without undue expectations of the occupants. All other parking within 0.5 mile of the leased office space is full or doesn’t have capacity to meet the requirements of the SOW. Market research was again conducted this year and will continue in future years in an attempt to find viable alternatives for a competitive award.



*This lease covers a period of performance for one base year, from 11/01/2022 through 10/31/2023 plus four option years.



*The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 812930 Parking Lots and Garages.



*The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with Trade Center Management Associates LLC. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. An award shall be made to Trade Center Management Associates LLC no later than 10/31/2022.
