The Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Supplies, Services, and Material Management Division (SSMMD) is issuing Request for Quotations (RFQ) # AOCSSB23Q0020 for Laundry and Delivery of Towels and Sheets. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in a contract to a responsible Quoter actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and whose quote provides the overall best value to the AOC in accordance with the requirements set forth by this solicitation and the Statement of Work (SOW). This solicitation will use the procedures in AOC Contracting Manual § 9.5 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with § 7.15 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Best value shall be determined utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection process.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this requirement is 314120 – Curtain and Linen Mills. The Product Service Code is 7290 – Miscellaneous Household and Commercial Furnishings and Appliances. The contract period of performance will be 1 base year and 4 one-year options, for a total of five years from the date of award if all options are exercised. Also, FAR 52.217-8 shall be included in the resultant contract.

This RFQ requires samples of towels and sheets to be mailed to the Government as part of the quotation submittal, see Attachment J.2 section L.3.4 for details regarding what and where to mail.
